Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to several Malayalam films. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati. Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her acting career in the early 2000s. She was the leading role in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success in the theater. While the film did not do well in the theaters the film she made her debut in came from A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in with Vikramprabhu. To fit in bigger projects, she had to pull out of films she had already begun working on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed, and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay. She appeared in Tamil film Paambhu satai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
