Reese Witherspoon and Rhea Seehorn

Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing an acting career when she began her studies in Stanford University. Her early critical successes included roles in films such as Pleasantville and Election however it was her portrayal of Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a turning point in her professional career. Witherspoon received the Academy Award, in 2005, for her role as Walk the Line. Water for Elephants: This Means War & Wild, in both films she received the Oscar nomination. Witherspoon also enjoyed success in the world of television, as a producer and co-star on David E. Kelley's popular award-winning TV series Big Little Lies. Her birth name was Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon. She was born on the 22nd March, 1976 at New Orleans Louisiana. Witherspoon, born to nurses and doctors, grew up as the first debutante of Nashville Tennessee. She attended Harpeth hall, which was a private girls' high school. Witherspoon was a debutante in the town of Nashville Tennessee in 1991. She was a part of the call for extras placed in her local paper. At just 14, she was given the role of lead actress on The Man in the Moon, her debut feature film. Witherspoon was so inclined to quit acting her initial year after high school that she considered making a move into medicine. In 1996, her appearance as lead actress in Freeway earned her the Catalonian International Film Festival Award for the Best Actress. She deferred college for a time to concentrate on acting. She also briefly did a course in English writing at Stanford University before deciding to resume her work. Her feature film debut in the 2003 comedy The Invisible Man. Then she was able to make appearances on a range of television shows including House of Lies Whitney and Better Call Saul. The credits on her film resume comprise The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. She is a talented painter and artist in addition to being a successful actor.
